Goodwill tour of Staten Island includes lunch at Lorenzo’s

Mayor Ken Pringle talks with Don Bosco, of Dongan Hills, and Hilton co-owner Lois Nicotra at Lorenzo’s.

There was a bit of fine dining on the agenda planned for Belmar (N.J.) Mayor Ken Pringle this afternoon, as the public official, touring the borough in a good faith gesture after recent inflammatory comments, was taken to Lorenzo’s Restaurant at the Hilton Garden Inn in Bloomfield for lunch.

Pringle and tour guide Larry Ambrosino, the executive director of SINY, were joined by hotel owners Richard and Lois Nicotra, and were given a look at the Hilton’s grounds.

During the meal, Don Bosco, a Dongan Hills resident, stopped over for a chat.
